I left HSU in 1981, so I just missed this poster’s debut, but I certainly recall the culture of the Humboldt Honeys. In fact, though I’m a man, it’s almost embarrassing how much I have in common with this girl! Hacky Sack, Ultimate Frisbee, shopping at the Co-Op, listening to reggae and the Grateful Dead, and being pro solar energy. Wow! I even smoke a few joints, but not enough to be the male version of this icon.
