		<description><![CDATA[Thanks to the decade long taboo against addressing teen sexuality and contraception, the US presently enjoys the highest teen pregnancy rate (and the highest fertility rate) in the industrialized world. You make an excellent case against the unlimited population growth advocated by STOPP. On a planet already facing food and water shortages, as well as massive unemployment, it&#039;s a viewpoint that might make sense to a few corporate CEOs - but certainly not to the rest of us.

May is National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month. As a child and adolescent psychiatrist, I&#039;ve done my small part to raise adolescent awareness with a new young adult novel THE BATTLE FOR TOMORROW: A FABLE (www.thebattlefortomorrow.com). A book about youth activism, it also frankly addresses teen sexuality, contraception and abortion.]]></description>
