I hope they can figure out some economically feasible way to preserve ag land. Searching for grant money will forever be fruitless. A land trust may work if existing property owners can be paid enough money to voluntarily relinquish their right to petition for a zoning change. Because local farmers are under increasing pressure from the water quality control board being forced to implement mandates from the EPA, selling out to development will be more common in the future.]]></description>
