Wow “kevpod” pull that slug out of your butt dude, I enjoy reading all types of feedback on your paper, that’s what makes Arcata one of the last free towns in the USA. It seems like there are some serious concerns regarding the ‘bums.’

There seem to be three default themes for online commenting, especially when the commenter doesn’t have anything intelligent to say:

1. Run the bums out of town.

2. The cops are worthless.

3. Arcata is going to hell.

At some point I may get fed up and raise the overall quality of the comment department by deleting this kind of braying jackass-style boredom.

Meanwhile, folks, you can step up your game a bit by supporting your premise.

We can start here: If you want the police to select individuals for banishment from Arcata, please explain the constitutional justification for this action. Because the police would have to.

So henceforth, unless that particular type of comment comes in with any legal premise supporting it, or some criteria for identifying those who should be “run out of town,” I am gong to feel just fine about dumping it.

The front door had been left unlocked by an employee of the Arcata Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) who had been making deliveries of merchandise about two hours beforehand.

My response: These two people are just more stupid types whom make society worse; yet, I can’t but help pull a Ziemer letter and blame the AEDC employee for being an irresponsible dufus. Personally, that is firing material for the AEDC dipshit.
