In honor of Earth Day 2012, the Bayside Grange & the Humboldt  Electric Vehicle Association  (H.E.V.A.) are sponsoring our FIFTH ANNUAL ALL ELECTRIC VEHICLE SHOW on Sunday, April 22, 8 AM to 12 noon. Members of H.E.V.A. will be parking their electric cars, trucks, scooters,  bicycles and tractors in front of the Grange for your perusal.  Local owners and enthusiasts will be on hand to discuss electric vehicles, and share their knowledge. Come learn about being “gasoline-free,”  and reducing the largest portion of your carbon footprint.

Bring the family to Breakfast in Bayside on Sunday, April 22, between 8:00 AM & Noon at the Bayside Grange, 2297 Jacoby Creek Road. The gourmet breakfast features sourdough multi-grain pancakes, chicken apple sausage, scrambled eggs, scrambled tofu, yogurt, fruit of the season, Sacred Grounds organic coffee, teas, milk, orange juice, hot chocolate, and Mad River Farm  jams and local sauces.  This healthy breakfast fare combines with live music, and lively conversation for an entertaining morning.

Breakfast in Bayside is proud to feature TROMBONES @ 4, A TROMBONE QUARTET WITH OCCASIONAL TUBA. Tickets are $8 for a full portion and $5 for smaller portions for Kids 2-12 and Seniors 65-80 (under 2 and over 80 are free). Join the Bayside Breakfast Club and receive six breakfasts for the price of five. Diners who walk or ride a bicycle to the breakfast on will be awarded a free serving of real maple syrup or organic blueberry syrup.

Breakfasts in Bayside are great community mixers and help to generate funds towards the ongoing  maintenance of the historic Bayside Grange Hall, a favorite venue for local non profit fund raisers, dances, workshops, and family wedding receptions.   For information about the breakfast or to rent the Hall, call 822-9998 or go to our website at www.baysidegrange.org .
