Justin sustained burns to his arms and hands, as well as suffering from smoke inhalation. He was intubated and transported to the UC Davis Burn Center, from which he may be released today. He is expected to make a complete recovery.

Justin is a talented local multi-instrumentalist. He lost everything in the fire, including all of his musical instruments (keyboards, accordion, saxophone, bassoon etc.). Arcata UMC is accepting donations to help Justin rebuild his life and livelihood; checks should be made out to Arcata UMC with “Justin Ross” in the memo line.
