Have You Seen Jeane’s Kayak? – June 30, 2012
ARCATA – Jeane Sloane is a writer from Sonoma County who came to Arcata to research material to update Anne Dwyers’, Easy Waters of Northern California-North.

This is a similar kayak. Jeane’s is purple, green and gray tie-dyed all over and older.
She left her kayak cable-locked to her vehicle. On Tuesday, June 26, the cable was cut and her kayak was stolen between the hours of 1 and 8 a.m.
It was parked on F Street between Fifth and Sixth streets (a block from the police station).
It is a nne-foot-long “Kopapa Lobo” recreational kayak, multicolored purple, gray and green and has “River’s Edge” stamped into the plastic.
Jeane can be reached at (
707) 696-4847. She is offering a reward for the return of her kayak. It is her best friend. Arcata Police may be reached at (707) 822-2428.
