Use the find my iphone app. if its on your ipad and the ipad is on you can locate it. research it a little theres a good chance its on your ipad

Eva, why the jab at the cops? Do you think they want to hold on to you iPad? Do you just hate all the people that wear a badge? Are you a hater? Hells bells! Give 'em a chance to see if they have the thing. The thieves took an awful lot of stuff and it all has to be processed. When I had property stolen from me and it was found by the Eureka cops during a warrant, I got it back after it was processed and the bum was convicted. I learned that the warrant is an order from the judge and the cops cannot just give stuff back until the trial is over unless you file some sort of extra court paper. I wanted the crook to do time and did not want to mess that up so I just waited, but then I ain't all about the material goods.
