EUREKA – The Humboldt Democratic Central Committee (HCDCC) is holding its 28th “Democrat of the Year” dinner on Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Adorni Center.

The honorees this year are Congressman Mike Thompson and Democratic activist Bette Boyd.

At the same event, the North Coast Young Democrats will honor Arcata City Councilman Shane Brinton with the first annual “Young Democrat of the Year” award.
