I really liked this shop, and I was disappointed to go by today with a broken watch and find that it's out of business. John was friendly, competent, and reasonably priced. This is a serious loss for Arcata.

How sad. John does great work and my in-laws save their watch needs for when they visited once a year…and they are coming next week. I hope you find a new place to hang your sign, we need your services, John.

This is a loss for our community. John has always treated me with the respect any merchant should, but also has gone beyond the expected on several occasions. I will miss his presence and will miss the opportunity to have a professional artisan attend to my albeit rarely occasioned needs. Thanks, John, for everything.
