PROBATIONER ARRESTED FOR HEROIN SALES
On Monday, July 1, 2013, at about 8:45 p.m., Arcata Police Department officers conducted a probation search at the residence of an adult probationer on Eye Street.
After contacting the subject, Donald Raymond Pohr, 71, of Arcata, a search was conducted at his residence per the terms of his probation.
During the search of Pohr’s residence, officers located a half ounce of suspected heroin, some of which was already packaged for sale into half gram increments, along with other items indicative of narcotics sales. The approximate street value of the heroin is $1,100.
Pohr was transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where he was booked on the following charges:
- H&S 11351- possession for sale
- PC 1203.2 – Violation of probation
