Animal Arcata
Helen Tozer and Mara Segal
Betty is a gray tabby domestic shorthair. She is two months old and has been spayed. She arrived at the shelter on July 30.
Shelter staff described her as “remarkably happy and friendly.” Her ID number is A063833.
Koko is a seven year old German Shepherd mix with a beautiful sable coat. He is a big affectionate guy who enjoys the simple pleasures in life such as walking or splashing about with his soccer ball in the doggie pool. He is easy-going and hangs out on his bed when there is nothing else going on.
Koko has a bit of an underbite, which gives him an unusual look but does not otherwise affect him. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. His ID number is A063542.

Asti Morris
Belle is a black tabby female kitten who is approximately 9 weeks old. If you look closely, you can see her faint tabby stripes.
Belle is a slightly more mellow kitty than her litter mates, but definitely likes to socialize and have fun. She will watch the others roughhouse for while before she jumps in and joins them! One could say that she is strategizing her playing plan!
Belle is affectionate and loves to be held and loved on. For more information on adopting, please visit cafanimals.org or call (707) 826-PETS(7387).
