Suspected She-Slithy Tove Captured In A Backyard Packing Serious Drug Ounceage

CITIZEN CHASES DOWN FEMALE SUBJECT TRYING TO ENTER VEHICLES
On Saturday, Aug. 10 at about 8 p.m., officers from the Arcata Police Department responded to the area of the Co-op market on the report of a concerned citizen chasing after a female subject who had tried to enter several vehicles in a residential neighborhood.
The female subject, identified as McKinleyville resident Shawna Renee Sorenson (age 27), was located by officers in the rear yard of a private residence in the 900 block of I Street.
During a search of Sorenson incident to her arrest for public intoxication, Sorenson was found to have possessed approximatley three-and-a-half ounces of concentrated cannabis, heroin and numerous items of drug paraphernalia associated with the use of heroin.
Sorenson was arrested for public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of concentrated cannabis and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.
