DESIGN A NEWSPAPER LOGO!
The new Mad River Union newspaper, which debuts Oct. 2 needs a logo, and is asking local artists for their ideas.
The new paper’s logo could incorporate design DNA from the Arcata Union, Arcata Eye and McKinleyvile Press, and must be clearly readable at different sizes. Ideally, it would incorporate an image of the Mad River or associated hardware – a photo or drawing.
Prizes include a lifetime subscription to the Mad River Union, free ad space and an all-expenses-paid night on the town for two, plus being part of a rare historical event – the creation of a community newspaper.
